Quarq Elsa R Power Meter Crank Arms - BB30 Quarq Elsa R Power Meter Crank Arms - BB30
For competitive riders looking to maximize every watt in training and racing scenarios, the Quarq Powermeter BB30 Elsa R Power Meter Crank Arms use SRAM's Exogram hollow carbon crank arms for uncompromising stiffness and power transfer. They're compatible with road bikes fitted with a BB30 bottom bracket interface and SRAM's 10 and 11-speed chainrings/groups (both Yaw and non-Yaw). The Elsa R measures power at the crankset spider with Quarq's OmniCal power measurement for greater precision. In fact, you'll find its spider-fitted power meter delivers +/- 1. 5% power accuracy readings, as well as power measurements along both the left and right cranks with its Power Balance Technology. This is crucial in evaluating weaknesses in both legs when you're looking to improve your training and racing times. Another benefit, as opposed to chainring-dependent power meter cranks, is the ability to swap out chainrings to better suit your riding needs and local terrain. Communicating with ANT+ cycling computers, the Elsa R wirelessly transmits power and cadence data to popular cycling computers, such as Garmin's Edge 500, 510, 800, 810, 1000, and Forerunner 910XT models. It's also compatible with TrainingPeaks WKO+, TrainingPeaks, Golden Cheetah, and Strava cycling apps. Furthermore, you'll find its replaceable CR2032 battery lasts some 300-hours of riding time, while its IPX-7 rating ensures protection from heavy showers and soaking road spray.

Quarq Riken R Power Meter Crank Arms - BB30 Quarq Riken R Power Meter Crank Arms - BB30
With an industry-leading accuracy of +/-1. 5%, Quarq's BB30 Riken R Power Meter Crank Arms guarantees to transform your training and give you an edge over the competition. Quarq's OmniCal power measurement technology allows you to switch chainrings without needing to recalibrate, making the swap between your road, 'cross, and tri setups quick and easy. The Riken R uses the 10k dynamic temperature compensation feature to prevent re-zeroing in extreme temperatures, so all you have to worry about is turning the cranks. The CR2032 gives you up to 300 hours of ride time, and when do you have to replace it, you can do it yourself, without any tools-- this is far better than having to mail it back to the manufacturer, which is what most systems require. To boot, Quarq designed the Riken R to be waterproof for 30 minutes while submerged under one meter of water. To communicate data to your head unit, the Riken R uses ANT+ wireless so your current computer is most likely already compatible with it. The Riken R uses an AxCad accelerometer to measure cadence, and it's compatible with various training software such as Training Peaks WKO+, Golden Cheetah, and Strava. This model is compatible with BB30 bottom brackets and SRAM 10- and 11-speed and Shimano 10-speed drivetrains. For 11-speed Shimano compatibility, check out the Elsa RS model.

Quarq SRAM Red Power Meter Crank Arms - BB30 Quarq SRAM Red Power Meter Crank Arms - BB30
You've been hearing about the benefits of training with a power meter from your ride buddies for a few years now, and we don't blame you if you've found it exhausting to sort through the plethora of hyperbole from manufacturers claiming to have the best power meters on the market. For whatever reason you've found yourself here, looking at Quarq's SRAM Red BB30 Power Meter Crank Arms, and we can say that if you'd like to blend a self-sponsored price tag with pro-level training functionality, this power meter is the place to start. Any power meter will employ a slightly different "thinking" mechanism to actually measure watts, and in the case of the Red Power Meter, the thinking is carried out by five strain gauges strategically arranged throughout the Exogram Hollow spider. They continuously work to measure the Newton meters you're driving into the pedals, and they do so with a claimed accuracy of +/-1. 5%, which is 0. 5% more accurate than many meters on the market. Quarq decided to make them ANT+ compatible as well, so you won't have to deal with swapping out head units or wearables to adapt the crank arms to your existing setup. Taking into account that most of us have a stronger leg, the SRAM Red crank arms use proprietary Power Balance technology to chart the power you're generating in both crank arms separately, giving you the advantage of being able to analyze weak spots in each leg as you ride familiar climbs and tackle grueling interval sets. Rather than include a battery setup that requires a full range of tools or needs to be mailed in to be changed, the batteries on the Red crankset have over 300 hours of life, and once they run out, they require no tools to be swapped for a fresh battery. One of the most notable features of the Red crank arms is their 10k dynamic temperature compensation feature, which was developed to address power meters' weakness in the face of rapidly rising or falling temperatures. Having to stop and back-pedal in the middle o...
