Atomic Pro Skate Ski Atomic Pro Skate Ski
The Atomic Pro Skate ski is like a supercharged sedan--it may not be the fastest ride out there, but it still has plenty of juice to pin it, without being too impractical to drive every day. The Pro Skate has a core made of Ultra High Densolite foam, which offers controlled rebound with a low weight penalty to facilitate energy transfer into your next stride, keeping you moving without bucking you like an untamed bronco. Atomic's sport profile features a wide sidecut for stability and easy handling, and the new double-grooved base holds wax well without requiring constant maintenance. Whether you're heading out on family Nordic adventures at the local golf course, or looking to take your skating to the next level, the Pro Skate has you covered.

Atomic Redster Skintec Ski Atomic Redster Skintec Ski
On those days you need to get out on the Nordic track to maintain your sanity, but you don't necessarily have time to apply kick wax to your skis, the Atomic Redster Skintec Ski will save your bacon thanks to its low-maintenance Skintec technology. A small section of mohair in the kick zone grips just about type of snow and provides reliable kick and efficient glide that's ideal for both training days and leisurely laps around the the Nordic track. And if the mohair starts to lose some of its glide after you've been hitting the track hard, the Skintec patch can be replaced quickly and easily from your own tuning bench. Atomic went with its ultralight Nomex core to keep the Redster light and lively, and it threw a carbon laminate above the core to trim a few more grams from the equation and deliver a stiffer flex. Atomic's Worldcup base will keep racers looking for a dependable training ski happy, and the hard flex will accommodate heavier skiers.

Atomic Sport Pro Skintec Classic Ski Atomic Sport Pro Skintec Classic Ski
We all wish we had more time to spend on skis, but until you get your hands on a flux capacitor, you'll still have to squeeze in lunchtime laps, pre-work sessions, and evening trail time. Waxing eats even more into that already-limited schedule, but Atomic's throwing serious-but-busy skiers a bone with the waxless Sport Skintec Classic Ski, which features a waxless Skintec kick zone and design points cribbed from the company's top-of-the-line Redster series. Instead of kick wax, the Sport Skintec relies on Skintec modules underfoot. Think of them like miniature climbing skins--they provide the grip you need to get powerful kicks, without the maintenance that traditional ski constructions require. To complement the waxless kick zone, Atomic designed the Sport Skintec with Step Down sidewall technology, which provides traditional ski-to-snow contact when flexed but lifts the entire kick zone off the ground when gliding, meaning that the Skintec modules won't slow you down. The High Densolite core is light, strong, and provides plenty of energy, and the tip and tail sections sport a BI 5000 base that'll hold plenty of wax to keep you gliding smoothly during all your training skis.

Atomic Sport Pro Skintec Classic Ski - Women's Atomic Sport Pro Skintec Classic Ski - Women's
Instead of burning precious daylight dialing in the perfect wax job for your after-work ski session, grab the Atomic Women's Sport Skintec Classic Ski and hit the trail already. The Sport uses Atomic's Skintec waxless technology, which consists of two interchangeable mohair kick zones underfoot, to give you perfect grip and glide over any snow condition, all without having to sweat a single stick of wax. How does Skintec not affect glide' Atomic designed the Sport with Step Down Sidewall (SDS) construction, which compresses the kick zone into the ground when you weight it, but lifts the entire thing during glide so the Skintec doesn't interfere with your forward progress. The Densolite core keeps things exceptionally light and durable, while the BI 3000 base is lightning quick and holds plenty of glide wax, so you can stay fast without spending a lot of time on ski prep.

Salomon S-Lab Skate Blue Ski Salomon S-Lab Skate Blue Ski
When conditions are cold--firm crystaline snow that's not always as fast as you'd like--pull out the Salomon S-Lab Skate Blue Ski. A World Cup-caliber rocket, the Blue is stiff, powerful, and responsive to give expert skiers and serious racers the boost they need to challenge for the podium. The Nomex composite honeycomb core keeps weight to an absolute minimum (just over two pounds per pair), while extra-thin wood sidewalls and a full-length carbon laminate gives the ski powerful rebound to propel you forward with every kick. Salomon designed the Blue expressly for cold snow, which basically means it pressed the ski with Salomon's 562 Balanced Camber profile, giving the ski a longer glide zone to decrease friction for a more powerful kick, faster glide, and easier tip return. Every ski is also pressed with Digital Dynamic Flex Control to ensure perfectly uniform flex characteristics in every pair. In keeping with its cold-snow orientation, the Blue features a G5 Zeolit Cold base that's meant to be fast on chilly snow, and gave it a World Cup grind that structures the base to perform well when your boogers are freezing in your nose.

Salomon S-Lab Skate Red Ski Salomon S-Lab Skate Red Ski
When you show up for race day knowing that conditions are a little sloppy but speed isn't optional, pull out the Salomon S-Lab Skate Red Ski. A World Cup-caliber rocket, the Red is made to give expert skiers and serious racers the boost they need to challenge for the podium, so it's not surprising that it's stiff, powerful, and responsive. The Nomex composite honeycomb core keeps weight to an absolute minimum--just barely over two pounds per pair--while extra-thin wood sidewalls and a carbon-fiber laminate give the ski powerful rebound to propel you forward through heavy, wet snow with every kick. Salomon designed the Red expressly for warm, soft, and sloppy snow, which basically means it softened up the flex a little bit and pressed the ski with Salomon's 587 Balanced Camber profile. This reduces the length of glide zones and raises the tip and tail to limit suction when you're gliding over wet snow. Every ski is also pressed with Digital Dynamic Flex Control to ensure perfectly uniform flex characteristics in every pair. In keeping with it's soft-snow orientation, the Red features a pre-waxed G5 White base that equips it to glide as much as possible in sloppy snow, along with a World Cup Warm grind that structures the base to perform at top efficiency when the snow is wet, warm, and soft.

Salomon S-Lab Skate Yellow Ski Salomon S-Lab Skate Yellow Ski
When conditions are prime--firm snow, cold but not frigid temperatures, and pristine trails--pull out the Salomon S-Lab Skate Yellow Ski. A World Cup-caliber rocket, the Yellow is made to give expert skiers and serious racers the boost they need to challenge for the podium, so it's not surprising that it's stiff, powerful, and responsive. Its Yellow distinction designates it as ideal for the most common conditions including: compact trails, snow that sits somewhere between wet and sloppy and bone dry, and cold-to-warm temperatures. The Stiff Nomex composite honeycomb core keeps weight to an absolute minimum at just barely over two pounds per pair, while extra-thin wood sidewalls and a full-length carbon laminate give the ski powerful rebound to propel you forward with every kick. Salomon designed the Yellow expressly for firm and compact snow, pressing the ski into its 569 Advanced Camber profile. This profile moves the apex of the camber several centimeters forward to increase pressure in the tail and decrease it in the tip, giving you a more powerful kick, increased stability, and easier tip return. Every ski is also pressed with Digital Dynamic Flex Control to ensure perfectly uniform flex characteristics in every pair. In keeping with it's hard-snow orientation, the Yellow features a G5 Zeolit Universal base that's meant to glide fast in all snow temperatures, and Salomon gave it a World Cup Universal grind that structures the base to perform in temperatures 17F and up.
